As a Health and Safety Officer, he plays a crucial role in the automotive industry, where safety risks are always prevalent. As a health and safety officer at Axess, it’s my responsibility to mitigate potential hazards that employees may face. These hazards include manual handling, such as repetitive motions and working in cramped positions, as well as being hit by or trapped between objects, like parts or tools. Slips, trips, and falls are also common, especially on oily floors or while working with slippery parts. Additionally, our operatives may be exposed to hazardous substances such as petrol, solvents, degreasers, and paints, which can have serious health consequences if not handled properly. says Jaynesh.
