JOB OBJECTIVE
The Service Advisor will ensure optimum customer service, advice customers on the type of repairs/products required and be the liaison with mechanics about necessary repairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Welcome customer on a first come first serve basis.
- Manage your daily planning for workshop throughput.
- Process the job cards accurately and completely for each requested service.
- Identify repeating customers and treat them accordingly.
- Make a complete and clear diagnoses of the vehicle problems which should be solved.
- Estimate the completion time and costs by quotation and invoicing.
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry.
- Document any changes in repair orders.
- Ensure correct invoices are sent to clients
- Send proper quotations to customers and meet their expectations adequately.
- Maintain composure and courtesy in dealing with customers and fellow employees.
- Explain technical information about repairs to customers.
- Inspect the vehicles on arrival and departure.
- Ensure all vehicles are delivered to customer as per standards.
- Prepare quality control report for further intervention if any.
- Ensure warranty repair orders are submitted within given timeframe to warranty officer.
- Issue repair orders-convert from scheduling to service order.
- Upsell parts and labor to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum HSC.
- Knowledge of a data management software
- Familiarity with the automotive sector and industry will be a strong advantage.
- Holder of a valid driving license.
- Holder of a clean certificate of character.
