Job overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Motor Surveyor who will estimate repairs to be done and related costs as well as liaise with insurance companies, customers, external motor surveyor and internal service advisors.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform estimates of repairs for any vehicle sent to Axess Body workshop.
  • Prepare Estimate of Repairs/’Devis’ with utmost diligence and care.
  • Follow up of additional with workshop.
  • Send and Follow-up of all additional estimates with insurance and surveyor.
  • Provide appropriate information to customers.
  • Closely monitor grounded vehicles and liaise with service advisors.
  • Ensure inspections of grounded vehicles.
  • Liaise with insurance companies, Customers and External Motor Surveyors.
  • Negotiate with insurance surveyors for Labour time and nature of repairs.
     

Requirements

You'll need to have:

  • Minimum SC and a certificate in automotive industry.
  • Technical knowledge in Body and Paint and Mechanic.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as supervisor/surveyor in Body and Paint 
  • Proficient negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good sense of organization and planning skills.
  • Holder of a valid driving license.
  • Holder of a clean certificate of morality.
