Job overview
We are seeking a dynamic electro technician who will be responsible to install, maintain, identify faults, and repair electrical/electronic components in vehicles and related equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose the various electrical and electronic systems.
- Use testing equipment and scan tools to find and solve electronic problems and malfunctions.
- Examining electrical and electronic component and ensure it is within required standards.
- Install, repair and maintain all electrical components found in vehicles (Repairs of starters and alternators).
- Assist on complex repairs as per the manufacturer’s guidelines (dealing with low tension circuits).
- Change ECUs and perform programing accordingly.
- Install accessories on vehicles.
- Identify necessary parts for quotation and repairs.
- Prepare estimates of quantities of materials required for specific works.
Requirements
You'll need to have:
- Minimum F3.
- NC3 Certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electromechanical repairs.
- Computer skills.
- Proficient electrical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Holder of a valid driving license.
- Holder of a clean certificate of morality.
