The Mazda CX-90 is equipped with a 3.3-liter inline six-cylinder turbo engine. Producing 345 horsepower and generating 500 Nm of torque, it is the most powerful mass-produced gasoline engine ever developed by the Japanese manufacturer. The vehicle is also fitted with an M-Hybrid Boost system, a hybrid system that ensures efficient propulsion without compromising its remarkable performance. This system is positioned between the internal combustion engine and the transmission, enabling smooth starts.
Constructed on an entirely new platform, the CX-90 features Kinematic Posture Control, a mechanism that significantly reduces roll during tight turns. This technology, tested on the brand's roadster MX-5 Miata, offers passengers optimal comfort and enhances vehicle grip. Emphasis has been placed on optimizing overall body rigidity while meticulously crafting the seats and suspension to enhance balance and control.
