What Makes the New Suzuki Swift a Game-Changer?

The new Suzuki Swift cranks up the style with some bold updates. Restyled headlight clusters now feature sleek L-shaped signature lamps, while the oval radiator grille with a piano black finish and a muscular bumper add a dose of attitude. The clamshell bonnet effortlessly blends into the creased shoulder line, giving the front end extra flair. The iconic floating roof design with blacked-out pillars stays true to its roots, but here’s a twist: the hidden rear door handles have been swapped for conventional ones, making them easier to use without losing the Swift’s charm.
The fourth-gen Swift stands out with a sculpted tailgate, integrated spoiler, 3D LED tail lights, and a sleek rear bumper featuring reflector panels. Stylish from every angle!

Practicality shines with 60:40 split rear seatbacks, ample storage spaces like door pockets, a glovebox, and a console tray perfect for smartphones. Thirsty? There are two cupholders up front, one in the rear, and a water bottle holder on every door. Plus, the 265L boot expands to a whopping 580L, plenty of room for all your gear!

What’s Driving the New Swift? Let’s Check It Out

A standout feature of the fourth-gen Swift is Suzuki’s  1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 60kW and 112Nm of torque. It’s lighter, more compact, and punches above its weight with strong performance across the rev range, thanks to multipoint fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. It’s also impressively efficient, sipping just 4.4L/100km (or 22.72km/L), an 11% boost in fuel economy over the previous model. Fun and economical, all in one!

How Many Variants Does the New Swift Offer?

The entry-level Swift GL, available in both manual and automatic transmission, rolls on 14-inch steel wheels with plastic covers and is packed with features like 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, projector headlamps, digital air-conditioning controls, front and rear electric windows, power-adjustable and folding side mirrors, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, central locking with an alarm, and rear parking sensors.

Sitting on 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, the Swift GLX can be paired with both available transmissions and comes loaded with premium features. These include automatic LED projector headlamps with a guide-me-home function, L-shaped LED daytime running lights, LED front fog lamps, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a leather multifunction steering wheel (with paddle shifters on CVT variants). It also boasts a nine-inch touchscreen, front tweeters, and automatic folding side mirrors, making it the ultimate Swift experience.

Safety First: How the New Swift Has You Covered

Suzuki takes safety seriously, and the new Swift is no exception. Every model comes equipped with six airbags (front, side, and curtain), ABS brakes with EBD, Brake Assist Function, Electronic Stability Programme, and rear ISOFIX anchors for child seats. Plus, all occupants benefit from three-point seatbelts (two front, three rear) with handy audible and visual reminders. Safety, sorted!
