Michelin, represented in Mauritius by Axess, Oxenham, and AfrAsia Bank, have collaborated to concoct a one-of-a-kind gastronomic affair: The Michelin Culinary Experience. The curtains were lifted on this delectable venture on Friday, June 16, 2023, within the elegant surroundings of the Mazda showroom in Pailles. Stretching from June to October 2023, this culinary expedition pledges to take foodies and wine aficionados on an enticing journey through an orchestra of flavours. Savour the anticipation!  

Delighting the north and east of the island, six distinguished restaurants are set to host harmonious food and wine pairings. The culinary journey embarked from the heart of Grand Baie at N'Joy on June 29th, making its way through five other beloved establishments: Amigo, Les Canisses Resto & Plage, The Banana Grill, Eden Beach, and Le Poivrier at La Plage. Anticipate an indulgent exploration of flavours across these chosen locales! 

 The Michelin brand, synonymous with its renowned Guide, has become an indelible icon of gourmet cuisine. Celebrating the diverse culinary landscape worldwide, it spurs chefs to strive for excellence, notably through the awarding of Michelin stars. Beyond raising quality standards, it promotes tourism and supports the restaurant industry. Therefore, it was only natural for us to associate with this event, promising gourmands an exclusive and unforgettable experience. We are also confident that these dinners will highlight local products and craftsmanship, whether in the kitchen or through the talents of Oxenham's sommeliers, supports Arnaud Espitalier-Noël, Business Unit Manager of the Tyres department at Axess. 

Oxenham's expert sommeliers, in close alliance with a range of culinary maestros, have artfully designed wine harmonisations that serve to amplify the complex symphony of flavours found within each singular plate prepared. Each pairing is an outcome of thoughtful contemplation, aimed to deliver unique and intriguing culinary compositions.
